Thomas Legrand is CoFSA’s Lead Technical Advisor. He leads the operations of the secretariat, ensuring cohesion and integration between all the different CoFSA workstreams. Holding a Ph.D. in Economics, Thomas has 20 years of experience working on sustainable land use, climate change, sustainable finance, and leadership.
His inner journey began at the age of 23 through an encounter with native spirituality in Mexico. He now lives near Plum Village, the monastery of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in the South West of France, his country. He is the author of Politics of Being. Wisdom and Science for a New Development Paradigm (2022).
