The Call for Proposals for the Conscious Food Incubator is a funding window to support approximately four conscious food interventions of up to $20,000 each. Applications for the Call for Proposals closed on August 18th.
Grantees receive an award of up to US $20,000 to implement their conscious food intervention and technical support from CoFSA Secretariat (including capitalization of lessons learnt leveraging the CoFSA MEL framework). The intervention will be shared across the CoFSA network.
Eligible entities: Civil society and non-governmental organizations, including non-governmental academic or educational institutions are eligible to apply. Private sector and commercial entities, and governmental organizations are not eligible. Individuals are not eligible. Partnerships are eligible, but a lead applicant is required.
Geographic Focus: There is no specific geographic focus or restriction on the location of beneficiaries or applicants for the Conscious Food Incubator. Interventions can target stakeholders at local, regional and/or global levels, they can focus on one country or have multi-country focus (e.g. online delivery).
The interventions are selected through a competitive Call for Proposals. Details of the selection criteria and decision-making process can be found in the ‘Guidelines for Applicants’.
