Thank you for joining the Conscious Food Voices initiative, which celebrates the lived experiences and inner journeys of those transforming food systems on the ground.
To catalyze a global shift toward conscious food systems, we believe it’s essential to center the inner capacities, insights, and stories of people like you—those working every day to cultivate more just, regenerative, and compassionate food futures. Through this initiative, we aim to highlight the voices of CoFSA members, capturing how you integrate inner development into your food systems work. These stories will be shared across CoFSA platforms (website, social media, newsletter, etc.) to inspire action and connection across the movement.

What’s a CoFSA Voice Video?
A short, personal video (1–2 minutes) where you share your voice and story answering:
In your own experience and context, why inner development is needed to transform food systems and how are you integrating it in your work?
Keep it personal, clear, and short.
How to Record (Tech Tips)
You can use your phone, camera, or computer camera. Keep it simple!
- Lighting: Face a window or light source. Avoid backlighting.
- Sound: Find a quiet space. Use a microphone or headphones with a mic if possible.
- Framing: Position your head and shoulders in the center. Hold the phone horizontally (landscape).
- Stability: Prop your phone on a stable surface or use a tripod.
- Practice once before recording—then speak naturally from the heart!
Format & File Tips
- Length: 1–2 minutes
- Format: MP4 or MOV
- File name: YourName_ConsciousFoodVoice.mp4
- Language: Any – Add subtitles / captions if possible
- You can use Canva to include automatic captions for free (we can help if needed)
- Optional: Include 1–2 horizontal photos that relate to your story.
Consent & Respect
To protect and respect your story:
- Only share videos of yourself or people who gave permission.
- If filming others, get verbal or written consent.
- Avoid filming children unless parents or guardians approve.
- Do not include confidential or sensitive information.
How to Submit
- Upload your video and any photos to your YouTube channel / Google Drive / Dropbox / or WeTransfer.
- Email the link to: luz.navarro@undp.org
Include:
- Your full name
- Country/organization
- 1-sentence summary of your video
- Consent confirmation (e.g., “I consent to sharing this video for CoFSA’s communication use.”)

Wonderful videos,I am challenged,I have to take my videos of maize plants and cane plants I planted on my sister’s farm .I have been taking these for granted but they mean a lot as far as COFSA is concerned.Thank you so much.i really long meet and interact with the team for the best outcome.
